Paper Seed Floristry Terms of Service
The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) are important as they govern the rights and obligations of the client (“you”, “your”) and those of Paper Seed Floristry (“we”, “us”) when using our service.
- Booking Fee
We offer an exclusive and bespoke service where we dedicate our time to a limited number of clients. Dates are reserved only when a non-refundable booking fee of £100.00 is made at the time of booking. Please note that the booking fee is only for the reservation of the proposed date and does not secure your project – see point 4 for further payment.
- Quotation & Pricing
Following the consultation with you, a quotation will be sent to you through post and email within 7 working days for you to review. The quotation will include a detailed list of products to be created by us, the quantity and details of pricing. A proposed project commence date will also be detailed in the quotation document. Acceptance of the quotation and the terms by you is done through signing the quotation document and terms and returning this to us by post, scanned to us through email, or sending a clear image of your signature on the documents. This acts as a contractual agreement between you and us under the proposed terms.
The total price for your product/s, including postage and packaging will be provided within the quotation. To secure a project with us, a non-refundable 50% deposit of the overall total quote is required to be paid by you, inclusive of the booking fee. We provide an exclusive service where client bookings are limited to a maximum two clients a month, subject to project size, therefore the time your project will commence is subjected to availability. A project cannot be secured until the non-refundable 50% deposit is made you and the confirmation has been sent by us. Payment can be made through BACS Direct Transfer to the account details provided in the quotation document. The remaining balance is to be paid no later than the payment date stated on the quotation. Products will only be posted upon receipt of the full payment. We reserve the right to resell any completed items not paid for after 30 days from the stated payment date. No refunds will be given as all products are bespoke and handcrafted.
- Additional Expenses
Where a face-to-face consultation and/or event set up are requested over 50 miles away from our registered business address, traveling expenses will be incurred for every mile above the 50 miles radius. In the event where set up is required at the client’s chosen venue, a set-up fee will also be added to the quotation.
- Process of creation
Since we provide an exclusive service, you will benefit from a dedicated timeframe for your bespoke project. The standard proposed project commencement date will be 2-3 months before your event/wedding unless otherwise stipulated. We will contact you to ensure all details discussed during the consultation are correct prior to commencing your project. We will endeavour to complete your project 4 weeks prior to your wedding date and delivered in a sufficient timescale.
Photos providing samples of your products will be sent to you in the designing stage to ensure you are fully satisfied with your products. Final images will also be provided prior to delivery.
- Changes to details
Quotation is made based on the discussion with you at the consultation. Changes to details such as designs, colour, and accessories may incur additional charges subject to our discretion. The additional charge calculated is dependent on the process of the service with which we will have to revisit. Any requests for changes must be made in writing through email to: email@example.com
- Postponements, Cancellation & Refunds
In the event of a postponed wedding date, it is your responsibility to inform us as soon as possible. We will do our best to provide you with a new project commence date, but please note there are no guarantees of availability as our bespoke service is highly demanding. If there is no availability, your project will be cancelled without refund as this is not due to the fault of us.

The 50% non-refundable deposit paid to secure your project will not be refunded as stated in point 3 and point 4.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to process your order after confirmation, you will be notified at the earliest opportunity and entitled to a full refund of the 50% deposit made by you.
Our cancellation and refund policy does not affect your statutory rights.
In the unfortunate circumstance that our creation is faulty, we will require notification within 7 days of receipt with photographic evidence provided and for the faulty product/s to be returned to us. Please contact us directly for the return address.
If the root cause of the fault is due to unsatisfactory standard of creation, then repair or replacement of the product may be done if time scale allows. If repair and replacement is not time permitting, a refund for the faulty product/s can be made.
We currently provide our services within the UK only. After the receipt of the full balance, we aim to send out your order 4 weeks in advance of your event/wedding date to the address you provided during the consultation unless stated otherwise. All orders will be sent via a courier service. Please note we are not responsible for any delays caused by the courier service and we are not responsible for any damages incurred during transit of the products.
The contents of Paper Seed Floristry on all platforms and social media, including graphics, images and codes is copyrighted work and the intellectual property of Paper Seed Floristry, and it is also the property of Phooi Yu Chin. The use of such contents and replicas of the creations from Paper Seed Floristry can be subjected to legal proceedings.
Rightful credit is given to images used on our platforms of weddings, photoshoots and other related events with permission from our client or the vendor.
The paper flowers and leaves from Paper Seed Floristry are all handmade; therefore the shape, size and colour of may differ slightly. As the creation of your products is handcrafted, the arrangement of bouquets, centrepieces, buttonholes, corsages and any other items may also differ. Please note that any photographic samples of paper flowers sent may not reflect the true colour palette as a result of lighting and pixilation. It is advisable to refer to the colour swatches provided to you in the quotation sent by us for true colours of the product/s.
Please note that we will be not held liable for any damages or personal injury that results from the use, misuse or inability to use the products. We accept liability for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence. In the event of identified negligence, the maximum liability Paper Seed Floristry will compensate is the full price of the product only.
- Force Majeure
In circumstances where it is out of the control of Paper Seed Floristry, such as natural disasters, unforeseen disasters, weather disturbances, labour strike and disruptions, medical conditions, ill-health, and/or any other circumstance beyond our control, we will not be held liable when it is inadvisable, commercially impracticable, illegal, or impossible for us to provide our service. Our liability will be limited to a full refund of all monies paid. Your statutory rights are not affected. Paper Seed Floristry carries full Public Liability Insurance.
